A man with a suspended license joined his court Zoom call while driving, shocking the judge and his legal team
You can’t make this up… The incident occurred on May 15 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, involving Corey Harris, who was on trial for driving with a suspended license. As Harris joined the call, District Judge J. Cedric Simpson noticed Harris was driving leaving the judge completely dumbfounded. Despite Harris' claim he was parking, it was clear he was still in motion. The judge, visibly astonished, denied the legal team's request for an adjournment and revoked Harris' bond, ordering him to turn himself in by 6 p.m. that evening.
